We deliver across Genesee County — Flint — through yards inside the county rather than a depot somewhere else. That is what keeps the delivery leg short enough to be worth pricing honestly.
Mid-Michigan is flat glacial till with pockets of heavy clay. Drainage is the recurring problem, which is why 6A washed stone and Class II sand show up in so many orders here next to the topsoil.
Screened topsoil for levelling, 21AA for drives, 6A where water needs somewhere to go.
Southern Michigan yards generally load from early spring through hard freeze. The spring rush runs late April into June and is when lead times stretch; autumn is the quietest, easiest time to get a next-day drop.

Coverage at a glance
We are a broker, not a yard. There is no Bulk Bros counter in Genesee County — your load comes off a local supplier’s scale, and the drive to your address is what sets the delivery line.

What Genesee County orders, and why.
Screened topsoil for levelling, 21AA for drives, 6A where water needs somewhere to go.
Mulch delivery
Sold by the cubic yard. One yard covers about 108 sq ft three inches deep.

Soil & Compost delivery
Screened topsoil levels; compost fixes. On the clay pockets, work compost in rather than laying topsoil over the top — a soil layer on clay just perches water.

Stone delivery
Priced by the ton — weight, not volume, is what limits the truck.

Gravel delivery
21AA for the drive surface, 6A underneath it where the clay holds water. Mid-Michigan drives fail from drainage far more often than from thin gravel.

Sand delivery
Class II is the MDOT granular spec for backfill and sub-base. Mason sand is the finer washed product for paver bedding and pool bases — they are not interchangeable.

You order from us. A yard down the road loads it.
Bulk Bros is a broker. We do not own trucks or a yard, and we are not claiming to have one in Genesee County. What we do is take the order, find the supplier who can deliver to your address cheapest, and stand behind the job once it is placed — so you deal with us rather than with a yard you never chose.
That is also why coverage grows slowly. 25 towns is a small number next to a national directory, and it is the number of places where a real truck can actually turn up.
